Thriftiness is next to cheapliness.

Yes, today was a thrift shop day.

I don't care what anybody says... you can find the greatest stuff at those little joints.  And really, the best reason to go is to see all the awesome old people. They're way too nice for their own good.

This lady talked for 10 minutes straight to her 77-year-old husband (I know this because he bragged how his age was so "lucky") about how she "hit the jackpot" after finding a rack of old magazines. That's just pure delight in my eyes.

I'm doing a load right now so I can wear the puppies I just bought, then I'll probably play some guitar.

It's looking like a good day.

  1. NOOO I was going to do this soon. I have a whole bunch of junk that I'm planning on hauling over to Good Will. Where did you go?

  2. Ahh nice. I went to four little shops in down town melbourne, but I also went to some places by Mel High a couple days ago. I think the Good Will is over there too. I'll totally thrift with you if you want.
