You NEED to check this band out.
They're called Land of Talk, hailing from the sweet country of Canada, and they make some rad lo-fi indie rock music. Their EP, "Applause Cheer Boo Hiss", is a real gem. It's chill but upbeat, and the lead singer really stands out. It seems like she's not even trying but still hits it every time.
And if you're wondering about the title, it's from their song, "All My Friends". Please, please, please listen to it immediately. It'll be the song you blast in the car for the next couple months. "Magnetic Hill" is also really good. But they all are.
Comment if you dig these guys and I'll upload their debut album, "Some Are Lakes", too. I'll confess, I just downloaded it today, but I'm sure it'll be good.
